Shibuya crossing intersection

Shibuya crossing, one of the biggest crosswalks in the world is used by about 500,000 people a day. Sometimes 3000 people cross during a single green light.

There are several spots overlooking the crossing; the bridges between the JR Yamanote line and Keio Inokashira line, the Starbucks Coffee, Shibuya Tsutaya and L’OCCITANE Cafe by Pierre Herme. The best spot is the observatory in “MAGNET by SHIBUYA 109″ which overlooks the crossing from 8-floors up.

If you visit there at dusk, you may see a dramatic scene sunset where the colors of the sky change moment by moment and contrasts with the lights of the city.
