There are about 40 small bars so small they are, full with only people on “Nonbei Yokocho”, (drunkard alley in English).

It is near Shibuya station amidst major urban renewal but you are still able to feel like you are in days gone by in Japan’s Showa era. It is becoming a popular spot for tourists, some of the bartenders speak English.
